Settings and Profiles

The desktop app persists the settings needed to keep chat and workspace flows stable between sessions.

Current settings surface​

  • Theme and layout preferences
  • Provider and model selection
  • Hosted API keys
  • Ollama base URL
  • MCP command overrides through environment variables

Storage behavior​

System secure storage is used when available. When not available, the app falls back to local plain-text storage and exposes that mode in the UI.
