By downloading, installing, or using GenieBuilder ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License​

GenieBuilder is a proprietary desktop application owned by Stephan Janssen BV. During the beta period, the Software is provided at no cost. This free beta access does not constitute a permanent license, and pricing or licensing terms may change upon official release. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software during the beta period for personal or professional purposes.

3. Use Restrictions​

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Use the Software to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or transfer the Software to any third party

4. Third-Party Services​

GenieBuilder integrates with third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Ollama). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. GenieBuilder is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties​

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE AUTHORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF THE SOFTWARE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

6. Limitation of Liability​

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

7. Changes to Terms​

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
