Installation

BETA Release

GenieBuilder is currently in BETA and will expire on June 1st, 2026. After this date, the application will no longer function. A new version will be available before the expiration date.

GenieBuilder is distributed as a standalone macOS application.

System Requirements

• macOS: 12.0 (Monterey) or later
• Processor: Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)
• RAM: 8GB minimum, 16GB recommended
• Storage: 500MB free space

Platform Support

Currently, GenieBuilder is only available for Apple Silicon Macs. Support for Intel Macs, Windows, and Linux is coming soon.

Download

1. Visit the releases page: geniebuilder.ai/releases
2. Download the latest GenieBuilder.dmg file
3. Open the downloaded DMG file

Install

1. Drag the GenieBuilder app into your Applications folder
2. Eject the DMG disk image
3. Open GenieBuilder from your Applications folder or Launchpad

First Launch

When opening GenieBuilder for the first time, macOS may warn that the app is from an unidentified developer:

1. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
2. Scroll down to the Security section
3. Click Open Anyway next to the GenieBuilder message
4. Confirm when prompted

Alternatively, you can right-click (or Control-click) the GenieBuilder app and select Open.
